- Motion to remove U23s from automatic qualifications: Scott 2nd: Sten
Discussion before passing
Amendment to motion proposed: Add U23s with same criteria as WJC for the
top 6 or 7 to the original motion. (In order to pre-qualify, the
athlete's average place in the races will be used. Also, these races
must also be CCSA NCAA qualifying events. For example, the 30/15 at US
Nationals is a WJC qualifying race, but this will not be used as a
pre-qualifying race for NCAAs since it is not a CCSA NCAA qualifying
event in 2005. The above also holds true for NCAA pre- qualification via
U23 qualification.)
Amended motion passed with 7 in favor and 2 opposed.
- Motion to use points assigned by FIS to assess athletes: Joe
Lengthy discussion regarding FIS and USSA points. Discussion about
developing a system, the "CCSA Strength of Field Point System", and
program to calculate and keep track of the points the athletes earn
during the season. Dave volunteered to help write/make the program and
Bryan

system points in the case of a tie: Bryan 2nd to the amended motion by
Kevin. Amended motion passed with one opposed.
